"THE HIP-HOP A.N.T.S." is a half-hour fantasy, action adventure cartoon series, about four ethnically diverse rapping teens created by Nature who protect the Earth and ISIS MONROE, an attractive record company owner with a secret past. The show reveals the contrast and conflicts, the Rap Fighting teens encounter while attempting to balance their responsibilities as Super Heroes, with those that come with being normal adolescents. Recent High School graduates; TINA-LEE, WHAM-DUNE, GABBY and GEI travel the world performing free positive rap concerts. When danger appears, the "Aha"medallion they wear, initiates a miraculous transformation. They become The Hip-Hop A.N.T.S, protectors of planet earth. Their touring bus is now RAP FIGHTER ONE, a formidable voice activated jet with stealth mode capabilities. Aboard, the crime fighting kids circle the globe seeking to eliminate all enemies of peace, whether earth bound, or beyond. The super charged teens give a group high five, after each successful mission and shout the show's ongoing theme; "MAKE A MOVE TO IMPROVE!!!" Which is a challenge to better yourself, and your environment.
Tina-Lee (formed by the Sun) is an Asian American Martial Arts Master whose beauty and charm hide her intense competitive nature, but not her vanity. Her weapon of choice, the shuriken, or throwing stars, originate as sparkles of light from her eyes. Having incendiary capabilities, they are projected from her eyes, thrown, and in boomerang fashion, whisk back into her hands after target demolition. Tina's major focus is protecting mankind and being a great entertainer, but her super powers make discovering her femininity a little difficult.
Wham-Dune, Caucasian American, (brought forth by an Earth Quake) is a raw Adventure Magnet. This is a powerfully built teen whose outer skin makes him impervious to all projectiles, and enables him to with stand temperatures beyond the melting point of steel, and pressures up to ten earth atmospheres. On the other hand, he's your basic, I'd like to have a genuine life experience, fun loving teddy bear, who's satisfied with a bar of soap, a bologna sandwich and clean underwear.
Gabby, a Latino American Illusion Master (delivered by a Bolt of Lightning) uses his mind controlled magical ball as a multifunctional weapon. He's a lady charming dare devil with a spontaneous penchant for pranks, done mostly for Tina-Lee's attention. He proves that being a teen and having complete control of your exuberance, hormones, and superhuman abilities, while establishing your individual identity…isn't as easy as it sounds.
Gei is an African American (ascended from a Volcano) Inventor who uses his dread locks to receive sound vibrations, and his dark glasses to convert them into hand and eye fired laser blast pulsations. He's a quiet dude who desires to become a skilled practitioner at not taking life so seriously. A creative teen who seeks to understand and master his uniqueness, Gei's the go to guy whenever chaos and indecision join the group.
Although they function smoothly as crime fighters, they often find themselves in high gear teen mode, as the neatness of, or who's next to drive and fly Rap Fighter One, becomes Tina-Lee's valid point, again. Gei, with his endless source of creativity quickly restores order, usually by making a super deep comment, or an extremely funny face. Gabby's constant need for self-validation, fuels the never-ending battle for macho supremacy between Wham-Dune and himself. When challenged by Wham-Dune to a swimming contest, he dove in before hearing the rules. His hasty act resulted in him going in too deeply and being trapped inside an old automobile tire. Narrowly escaping serious injury, he was freed when Wham-Dune dove in and ripped the tire in two with his bare hands. Gabby responded with, "Thanks man, I'll race you to the recording studio!"
"The Hip-Hop A.N.T.S." are four teenage multi-ethnic global guardians who protect everyone…even grown ups! Thereby allowing other kids to see themselves represented in a positive light, while satisfying their need to feel important. With these colorful characters being Rappers who wear cool Urban Fashions and live an Action Filled life, this half-hour fantasy adventure series successfully covers all prime areas of interest to the 9-14 (tweens) demographic. Each week they'll enjoy episodes containing issues relevant to self-discovery, such as… rejection, the loss of a loved one, guarding one's personal space, abandonment, drug abuse, and the ever present. … RRAAAAAGING HORMONES!!! "The Hip-Hop A.N.T.S." cartoon show, is a head bobbing, informative and entertaining series that allows kids all across America to join Tina-Lee, Wham-Dune, Gabby, and Gei as they reflect what's in a kid's world; hip Music, off the hook Fashions, and interactions between diverse characters in real life situations.
